Security Guard Training Course
A professional security officer/ guard is any individual or business who, for consideration, advertises as or is engaged in the business of furnishing professional security services, which is described below. All individuals and agencies are required to be licensed:
- Acts as a bodyguard
- Protect property to include real estate and personal
- Transports prisoners
- Guards armored cars
- Attempts to prevent theft, misappropriation or concealment of property or other valuables
Class D license 24 hours Course Part I
The Florida D License Class security training and course will provide the basic requirements for employment as an unarmed security guard officer as is required by Florida State Statutes Section 493.
After completion of the unarmed class D class, Students will be issued a temporary security guard license from the state of Florida until the permanent security guard license is received. The state of Florida will issue the permanent Class D License within 30 to 90 days of completing the Class D license security guard class.
