Security Officer Class D Training
According to the State of Florida, a total of 40-hours of training is required for a Security Officer Class “D” License. However; the law will permit for this training to be divided into 24-hours of initial training followed-by 16-hours of additional training. The 16 hours of additional training must be completed and paperwork turned into the state within a 6- month period of completing the initial 24 hour class.
